Curved Opening &
Closing Screen

A kinetic curved screen that splits and opens along arc tracks. Controlled via DMX stage desks, the display separates smoothly to reveal speakers or props behind it.

  • Curved sheet-metal arc tracks guide panels smoothly along paths
  • Sync opening/closing movements directly via DMX console desks
  • Safety micro-switches cut motor power if panels misalign

Dynamic Curved Movements

Engineered to deliver smooth, quiet reveals on theater stages and television studios.

DMX512

Lighting Desk Integration

Map screen motion to standard DMX channels. Sync opening and closing sequences directly with lighting and audio cues.

Arc Rail

Curved Guide Tracks

Heavy-duty sheet-metal arc tracks guide the curved cabinets. High-speed silent motors ensure a smooth split sequence.

Limit

Alignment Safety

Mechanical and electronic limit switches monitor the center split, shutting off motors if panels overlap or misalign.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What curved track radii are available?

We custom-roll tracks to match your stage layout, from a tight 4.0-meter radius for small theater stages up to large 20-meter sweeps for arenas.

Can I trigger opening and closing sequences via standard DMX?

Yes. The controller maps to standard DMX-512 and ArtNet protocols, letting lighting operators trigger movements directly from stage consoles.

Does the image look distorted where the screen splits?

No. When closed, mechanical alignment pins lock the screen halves together with sub-millimeter precision, making the seam invisible to the audience.

What happens if a track jams or loses power?

The system uses failsafe electromagnetic brakes that lock the screen in position if power drops. Backup manual overrides also let crews slide panels open by hand.
